The Sixth Scottish International Youth Piano Competition
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) held their annual Piano Summer School from the 23rd - 25th July 2024.
In conjunction with the RCS, we were delighted to present the Sixth Scottish International Youth Piano Competition for younger pianists of great potential from around the world.
All students attending the Piano Summer School aged 12 - 17 had the opportunity to participate in the competition, which took place on 26th July 2024. A distinguished jury, chaired by the RCS’s Head of Keyboard Professor Fali Pavri, selected the prize winners.
The course was designed to give young pianists the chance to experience an intensive week of study in a conservatoire environment.
The prizewinners' concert was held at 1pm on Wednesday 16th October 2024, in the beautiful setting of the Glasgow Art Club as part of Westbourne Music's 2024/25 season.
